About Us
The Hoenny Center focuses on how children and youth help each other learn – their motivations, the rewards they derive from doing so, and the strategies they use. We intend to understand, improve and encourage teaching by elementary and secondary school students, and, in turn, to help strengthen the teaching profession.

Our full name is The Inga and Adolph Hoenny Center for Research and Development in Teaching. We are a not-for-profit research and development agency incorporated on December 30, 2002 in Missouri. Donations are tax-deductible under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code.

See the "Frequently Asked" section of this web site for more, or (better yet) just come in and browse.
